Prominent author and investor, Dr. Promise Okagwa, has sent warm Easter wishes to Nigerians, encouraging them to find renewed strength and unwavering hope in the powerful message of the season — ‘He is Risen.’
In his Easter message released on Sunday, 20th of April 2025, Dr. Okagwa emphasized the power of resurrection as symbolized by the triumphant rising of Jesus Christ from the dead.
He encouraged Nigerians to remain resilient and steadfast despite the prevailing socio-economic challenges confronting the nation.
“As Jesus Christ conquered the grave and rose victoriously, I pray that every challenged Nigerian will rise from their situations and current struggles.”
“Easter reminds us that even the darkest moment is not the end—there is always a dawn of hope,” he stated.
Dr. Okagwa, known for his thought-provoking literary works and investment contributions to the Nigerian economy, expressed optimism that the nation, like Christ, would also rise from its present economic downturn
“I pray earnestly for the resurrection of our great nation Nigeria—out of the shadows of economic hardship, out of insecurity, and into a new era of peace, growth, and shared prosperity,” he added.
He concluded by urging fellow countrymen and women to embrace the spirit of love, sacrifice, and unity that Easter represents and to continue to uplift one another in the face of adversity.
