Ijede LCDA, April 24, 2025 — In a show of loyalty and party discipline, Lady Evangelist Falilat Adebowale Sharafa-Taiwo, a Councillorship Aspirant from Ward A in Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has officially announced her voluntary withdrawal from the All Progressives Congress (APC) Councillorship race.

The announcement was made following a crucial meeting held on Wednesday, April 24, 2025, involving all aspirants contesting for Councillorship positions within the LCDA.

The meeting, aimed at fostering unity and peaceful resolution among party members, was convened to streamline candidacies ahead of the forthcoming local elections.

In her official statement, Lady Evangelist Falilat Sharafa-Taiwo expressed humility and unwavering loyalty to the party, stating:

“After the meeting held with all the councillorship aspirants today, with humility and respect to all our party leaders and other relevant stakeholders, as a loyal party member, I voluntarily withdraw from this race.”

She further pledged her full support to the party’s chosen candidate, vowing to mobilize her loyal supporters to ensure electoral victory for the APC in the ward.

“I will give every needed support to ensure that whoever our party presents wins by mobilising all my teeming supporters,” she affirmed.
