Canada-based Nigerian entrepreneur and independent financial advisor Prince Kayode Olaide—fondly known as ‘Sir K’—has extended a heartfelt message of encouragement and resilience to Nigerian workers in commemoration of the 2025 International Workers’ Day.
Prince Olaide, who is the son of the first Olubeshe of Ibesheland, used the occasion of May 1st to salute the dedication, strength, and unwavering spirit of Nigerian workers, describing them as the “true engine of national growth and hope for a better tomorrow.”
Speaking from Canada, where he serves as an independent financial advisor with the reputable World Financial Group Inc., Prince Olaide acknowledged the many economic challenges currently facing Nigerian workers, including inflation, unemployment, and limited access to financial opportunities.
He, however, urged them not to lose hope, stressing that their perseverance in the face of adversity reflects the enduring Nigerian spirit.
“Today, I join millions around the world to celebrate the efforts of every Nigerian worker—those who keep the wheels of the economy turning through sheer willpower and commitment,” Prince Olaide said.
“Though the road may seem rough, I believe in the capacity of Nigerians to rise above challenges and create new possibilities. Resilience is not just a choice, it’s a legacy we carry.”
As a successful entrepreneur with deep roots in Ibesheland and professional footprints in both the USA and Canada, Prince Kayode Olaide has consistently advocated for financial literacy and global empowerment for Nigerians.
He emphasized that his journey from his Nigerian heritage to his achievements abroad is proof that perseverance, skill-building, and faith can break boundaries.
He concluded his Workers’ Day message with a call for unity and transformation through service and sacrifice, encouraging Nigerian leaders, private sector players, and communities to continue supporting the workforce in tangible ways.
“Let us use this day not only to reflect but also to renew our commitment to building a future where every worker’s effort is rewarded, and every dream is achievable,” he added.
Prince Kayode Olaide’s message comes at a crucial time when many Nigerians are seeking hope, direction, and support in rebuilding their lives amid economic and political transitions.
