The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Adesina, has expressed heartfelt gratitude after being named Local Government Chairman of the Year 2025 at the prestigious AfrikanWatch Network Communications 2025 Lecture, Award, and Induction Ceremony, held on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, at Lime Ridge Signature Hotel, Ikeja GRA, Lagos.
The high-profile award event, themed “The Nigerian Leadership Structure and Its Unsung Heroes,” was designed to recognize and spotlight outstanding public servants who have made meaningful impacts away from the limelight.
Among the honorees, Hon. Adesina stood out for his consistent contributions to grassroots governance and community development.
In a message to Ikorodu News Network (INN), Hon. Adesina described the recognition as a validation of the collective efforts of his administration in delivering effective governance.
“It’s a good thing that our administration’s effort is being recognised across board in Nigeria. I am deeply grateful for this honour,” he stated.
