Hon. Balogun Rotimi Olatunbosun, a notable Lagos real estate mogul and former aspirant for the Lagos State House of Assembly (Ikorodu Constituency I), recently paid a consultative visit to Nigeria’s former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar GCON.

The high-level meeting, which took place in Abuja, is already generating political interest and discussions, especially among youth groups and policy watchers.

The visit, according to Hon. Balogun was centred around political consultation, national development, and coalition-building efforts that could shape future political alignments.

Speaking to journalists after the meeting, Hon. Balogun revealed that the conversation delved deeply into issues concerning Nigeria’s current political landscape and the crucial role that the youth must play in governance and leadership.

“We had an extensive discussion on the future of Nigeria and how meaningful coalitions can reposition our nation. Most importantly, the former Vice President is deeply concerned about the youth and intends to work more directly with them in any future engagements.”

“His vision is to harness the potential of Nigerian youths for national transformation,” Hon. Balogun disclosed.

The former lawmaker aspirant emphasized that the consultation is part of ongoing efforts to explore collaborative opportunities with seasoned political figures, especially those who still wield influence and possess experience in national governance.

Political analysts believe the visit may be a strategic move ahead of future elections and could signal the emergence of a new coalition of progressive minds ready to bridge the generational gap in politics.

It also underscores Atiku Abubakar’s continuous engagement with young leaders across the country, as he positions himself as a mentor and ally in their aspirations.

While details of the coalition programs remain under wraps, Hon. Balogun assured that more updates will be made available as consultations progress.

“This is just the beginning. The engagement is ongoing and inclusive. We are focused on ensuring the youth are at the centre of national development, and with leaders like Atiku showing commitment, we are optimistic,” he concluded.

The visit has since sparked reactions on social media, with many young Nigerians expressing hope that such alliances will lead to more inclusive and dynamic political participation in the country.
