As his administration winds down, Hon. Wasiu Adesina, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, has once again reaffirmed his commitment to infrastructural development by giving Sanni Arowolo Street and Dada Street a significant facelift.
Both streets, located in Ward D of Ikorodu Local Government Area, are currently undergoing asphalting, marking a key upgrade to their road networks.
Otayombo Street, another critical link road in the area, has also been included in the ongoing project, ensuring greater connectivity and ease of movement for motorists and residents alike.
Despite being in the final phase of his administration, Hon. Adesina is clearly not resting on his laurels.
His continuous rollout of impactful projects even at the tail end of his tenure speaks volumes about his dedication to grassroots development and service delivery.
The transformation of these streets, which serve as major access routes in the heart of Ikorodu, is expected to greatly enhance daily commuting, improve drainage conditions, and reduce the wear and tear on vehicles.
Residents and road users have already begun expressing their appreciation for the new look the roads are taking on.
This initiative adds to a long list of developmental strides championed by Hon. Adesina since assuming office.
