OBANIKORO PAYS SALLAH HOMAGE TO PRESIDENT TINUBU, CONGRATULATES HIM ON 2ND YEAR IN OFFICE ~ INN Nigeria ☆

As part of the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, Rep. Ibrahim Babajide Obanikoro, Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Monitoring and Parastatals, paid a courtesy visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu at their Lagos residence over the weekend.

The visit, which took place amid festive Sallah activities, also served as an opportunity for Obanikoro to personally congratulate the President on the recent commemoration of his second anniversary in office as Nigeria’s democratically elected leader.

Speaking after the visit, Obanikoro stated:
“It was a privilege to felicitate with Mr. President and the First Lady on this special occasion of Eid-el-Kabir. At the same time, I conveyed my heartfelt congratulations to Mr. President on reaching the milestone of two impactful years in office. His leadership continues to inspire hope and drive national progress, and we remain confident in the positive transformation his administration is championing across all sectors.”

The visit underscored not only the strong personal and political ties between Lagos State leaders and the Federal Government but also the atmosphere of unity and goodwill that the Sallah period promotes among Nigeria’s political class.

Obanikoro’s homage followed a series of similar visits by notable figures, including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, members of the state cabinet, traditional rulers, and key business leaders. Collectively, these visits highlighted a shared commitment to fostering cooperation between Lagos—the nation’s commercial hub—and the Federal Government.

During this season of reflection and gratitude, President Tinubu warmly received visitors, exchanging greetings and reaffirming his administration’s dedication to building a more prosperous and united Nigeria.

The President’s second year in office, marked in late May, has been punctuated by major policy milestones and national development efforts. Key among these are the ongoing implementation of economic reforms, expanded infrastructure projects such as the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and the Blue Rail expansion, and strategic foreign relations engagements.

Leaders like Obanikoro used the Sallah season as a moment to celebrate these strides and to express renewed support for the President’s vision for Nigeria.

By combining the festive homage with a congratulatory message on the administration’s anniversary, Obanikoro’s visit embodied a spirit of unity, gratitude, and shared resolve for continued national progress.

“As we mark this Sallah and the President’s anniversary in office, it is important for all Nigerians to come together in prayers and collective effort toward a greater future,” Obanikoro emphasized.
