In a major stride towards strengthening the education sector, the foundation laying ceremony of the Isawo Comprehensive Junior High School has officially commenced in Isawo, under Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
The project, which is designed to be completed within three (3) months, will deliver a modern block of six (6) standard classrooms, aimed at providing a conducive learning environment for students and tackling the persistent challenge of overcrowding in public schools within the community.
Announcing the development, Hon. Taiwo Abimbola (popularly known as Owomilowomi), the Majority Leader of Ikorodu West LCDA, expressed profound joy on behalf of the people of Isawo.
He described the project as another giant step in the drive to uplift the educational landscape of the community.
“Our children deserve the best facilities to thrive academically. This project will not only improve the quality of learning but also bring relief to parents and teachers who have long been grappling with congested classrooms,” he stated.
Hon. Abimbola extended heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, Member of the Federal House of Representatives, for facilitating the landmark project.

He lauded Benson’s consistent support and commitment to community development, particularly in education.
“This achievement is yet another testimony to Hon. Babajimi Benson’s dedication to the progress of our community and the future of our children. On behalf of the people of Isawo, we say a big thank you for always standing with us,” he added.
The Isawo Comprehensive Junior High School, when completed, is expected to stand as a beacon of hope and progress, ensuring that students in the community have access to quality education in a safe and conducive environment.
Community stakeholders have also welcomed the initiative, describing it as timely and a clear demonstration of purposeful representation.
