Ijede, Lagos – Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, recently inaugurated two major community projects in Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), signalling a fresh boost for education and healthcare in the district.
The Lagos East lawmaker commissioned a newly built, fully furnished block of classrooms at Luwasa Junior High School and formally reopened the refurbished Abule-Eko Primary Healthcare Centre.
Both initiatives, facilitated through his constituency projects, are designed to create a better learning atmosphere for students and improve access to quality medical services for residents.
Council Chairperson Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, who joined the senator at the ceremonies, lauded his “people-focused” representation.
“These projects reflect the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, which our community has long anticipated,” she said, expressing appreciation on behalf of Ijede residents.
Speaking through his representative, Alhaji R.I. Jinadu, Senator Abiru noted that the projects are part of a wider development strategy encompassing infrastructure upgrades, healthcare improvements, digital skills training and economic empowerment.
“Our goal is to bring governance closer to the people by delivering interventions that meet their pressing needs,” he stated.
The twin projects are expected to enhance the learning experience for pupils and strengthen primary healthcare delivery across Ijede and its adjoining communities.
