DR. AGBAJE HAILS LAGOS DEPUTY GOVERNOR AT 61, DESCRIBES HIM AS A QUINTESSENTIAL LEADER ~ INN Nigeria ☆

The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, has joined family, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating the 61st birthday of the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Kadri Hamzat, lauding him as “a quintessential leader per excellence whose dedication to public service continues to inspire generations.”

In a goodwill message released on Friday 19th of September 2025, Dr. Agbaje extolled Dr. Hamzat’s commitment to the development of Lagos State and his exemplary contributions to governance over the years.

He described the Deputy Governor as a “visionary technocrat and a man of immense integrity whose leadership style reflects humility, wisdom, and a passion for the welfare of the people.”

“Your 61st birthday is not just a celebration of age but a testament to decades of purposeful service and remarkable achievements,” Dr. Agbaje stated.

“Lagos State is fortunate to have a deputy governor who embodies the principles of excellence, innovation, and steadfast leadership. Your life’s journey remains a beacon for many aspiring leaders.”

The Special Adviser also offered heartfelt prayers, asking God to grant Dr. Hamzat greater success in both his personal and professional endeavors, and to continue to strengthen him with sound health, wisdom, and divine guidance as he contributes to the progress of Lagos State and Nigeria at large.

Dr. Obafemi Kadri Hamzat, a seasoned engineer and public administrator, has served in various strategic roles within the Lagos State Government before becoming Deputy Governor in 2019.

His 61st birthday marks yet another milestone in a career defined by transformative policies and people-centered leadership.

Dr. Agbaje concluded his message by urging Lagosians and Nigerians to emulate Dr. Hamzat’s sterling qualities of diligence, integrity, and selfless service, noting that such virtues are critical to the nation’s growth and development.
