
The Ikorodu Peculiar Lions Club has reaffirmed its commitment to excellence in service and leadership development with the successful hosting of a Club Quality Initiative (CQI) Workshop on Monday, September 22, 2025.
The capacity–building session took place at the renowned Oshodi Arts Gallery, a creative hub in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
The workshop was expertly facilitated by Lion Wole Ajidahun, a seasoned Lions Club International trainer known for his depth of experience in club administration and strategic development.
He led participants through the core objectives of the CQI, which is designed to help Lions Clubs worldwide evaluate their operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement actionable strategies to enhance member engagement and community impact.
In his presentation, Lion Ajidahun emphasized the importance of continuous self-assessment and collaborative planning to strengthen service delivery.
He highlighted best practices for sustaining membership growth, ensuring effective leadership succession, and fostering a vibrant club culture.
Members of the Ikorodu Peculiar Lions Club expressed appreciation for the session, noting that the interactive format provided practical insights into elevating the club’s standards.
Lion Oshodi Seyi Paul, the club’s President said the workshop also encouraged open dialogue on innovative service projects and the need for data-driven evaluation of past initiatives.
