The Coalition of Oodua Self-Determination Groups (COSEG) across the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Europe has extended warm felicitations to Ambassador Seyi Tinubu (ST) on the occasion of his 40th birthday, describing the milestone as a celebration of purpose, resilience, and evolving leadership.

In a statement issued by its Co-Ordinator, Comrade Oredolapo Ibrahim, the group noted that Ambassador Tinubu’s life journey represents more than just the passing of time, but a testament to vision, growth, and service to humanity.

“As a son of the soil and a symbol of generational transition, Ambassador Tinubu has demonstrated a growing commitment to ethical engagement, youth empowerment, and the socio-political advancement of our people,” the statement read.

Comrade Ibrahim commended Tinubu for maintaining integrity in a period when moral values are increasingly being compromised, adding that his conduct and contributions have continued to inspire hope among the younger generation of the Oodua nation.

“In a time when integrity is often compromised, we salute his efforts to uphold values that resonate with the aspirations of the grassroots. His presence in national and international spaces continues to inspire young Oodua sons and daughters to dream boldly and act responsibly,” Ibrahim stated.

He reaffirmed COSEG’s commitment to promoting self-determination, justice, and cultural pride among Yoruba people globally, while expressing optimism about future collaborations with progressive figures like Ambassador Tinubu.

“We look forward to continued collaboration with progressive voices like Ambassador Tinubu, whose journey reflects the promise of a more inclusive and accountable future,” the statement added.

The message concluded with a heartfelt Yoruba blessing and a reaffirmation of the group’s values:
“May this new chapter bring wisdom, strength, and renewed dedication to the service of humanity and the Yoruba nation. Happy 40th Birthday, ST! Àyọ̀ àti àlàáfíà ni kó máa bá ọ lọ. Long live Oodua. Long live ethical leadership,” Ibrahim said.
