IMOTA COUNCIL CHAIRMAN LAUDS GOV. SANWO-OLU, DR. AGBAJE FOR DELIVERING TRANSFORMER TO IRADELU ITESIWAJU COMMUNITY ~ INN Nigeria ☆

The Executive Chairman of Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele, has applauded the Lagos State Office of Rural Development for installing a new electricity transformer in Iradelu Itesiwaju Community, under Imota LCDA.

The installation, carried out on the 29th of October 2025 through the Rural Electrification Programme of the Lagos State Government, was made possible by the intervention of Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu on Rural Development.

Hon. Benson, while reacting to the development, expressed profound appreciation to Governor Sanwo-Olu for his continuous drive to improve the living standards of residents across the state, particularly within the Ikorodu Division.

He described the initiative as another demonstration of the administration’s unwavering commitment to infrastructural growth and rural development.

The Council boss also commended Dr. Agbaje for his outstanding dedication and hands-on approach to advancing development in grassroots communities across Lagos.

Receiving the transformer on behalf of residents, Mr. Jimoh Sanni, Chairman of the Iradelu Itesiwaju Community Development Association (CDA), lauded the state government for extending the dividends of democracy to their community.

He noted that the electrification project would greatly enhance social and economic activities within the area.

The Rural Electrification Initiative forms part of Governor Sanwo-Olu’s T.H.E.M.E.S Plus Agenda, strategically designed to deliver inclusive and sustainable development across all parts of Lagos State, especially underserved and developing communities.
