PRINCESS FOLASHADE-OBA EXTOLS PRINCE ABIODUN OGUNLEYE ON HIS 85TH BIRTHDAY ~ INN Nigeria ☆

The National Chairman and Board of Trustees Member of the Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria (ALGOVC), and National Director of the APC Professional Women Council, Aarebirin Hon. (Dr.) Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, who is also the former Vice Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, has joined prominent leaders and well-wishers to celebrate Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, on the joyous occasion of his 85th birthday anniversary.

In a heartfelt felicitation on the 1st of November 2025, Princess Olabanji-Oba described Prince Ogunleye, a revered Governance Advisory Council (GAC) member and Apex Leader in Ikorodu Division, as “a statesman of distinction, a father figure, and a visionary leader whose exemplary life continues to inspire countless individuals across Lagos State and beyond.”

She commended the elder statesman’s enduring legacy of service, integrity, and mentorship, emphasising his pivotal role in shaping the political and developmental trajectory of Lagos State.

“Prince Abiodun Ogunleye embodies the true spirit of leadership — one built on humility, loyalty, and an commitment to the greater good. His immense contributions to public service and community advancement remain a source of pride to us all,” she said.

Princess Olabanji-Oba further lauded his guidance and fatherly support for younger leaders, noting that his leadership wisdom continues to be a beacon for many in Ikorodu Division and the state at large.

“At 85, Baba Ogunleye remains a symbol of grace, wisdom, and relevance — an icon whose passion for the unity and progress of Lagos State is unmatched.”

“We celebrate him today and pray for God’s continued blessings, strength, and fulfilment in his remarkable journey of service,” she added.
