
The Executive Chairman of Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, on Thursday, November 6, 2025, embarked on an on-site inspection of the ongoing classroom construction at Methodist Primary School, Oke-Eletu, as part of her administration’s continuous efforts to strengthen the education sector within the council.
The construction project, which commenced on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, underscores the council’s commitment to providing a conducive learning environment for pupils in the community.
The development includes a modern block of six classrooms, each fitted with toilet facilities, as well as a completed perimeter fence designed to enhance school security.
During the inspection, Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba commended the contractors for maintaining quality standards and adhering to the project’s timeline.
She emphasized that the initiative aligns with her administration’s vision to promote educational growth and sustainable infrastructure development.
“This project is a fulfillment of my promise to improve school infrastructure across Ijede,” she stated.
“Education remains a top priority for my administration, and we will continue to invest in facilities that support learning and academic excellence.”
The inspection further highlights the council’s proactive measures to address infrastructural deficits in public schools and ensure a safer, more enabling environment for both teachers and pupils.
