PRINCE OLAIDE EMMANUEL KAYODE GRACES KEME BALOGUN SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL INTER-HOUSE SPORTS AS PATRON OF BLUE HOUSE ~ INN Nigeria ☆

‎The atmosphere at Keme Balogun Senior Secondary School was filled with excitement and colour on Thursday as Prince Olaide Kayode Emmanuel attended the school’s annual Inter-House Sports Competition, serving as the Patron of Blue House.

‎The event, held within the school premises, drew the presence of distinguished guests, school officials, enthusiastic students, and community members who gathered to celebrate sportsmanship, unity, and youth development.

The inter-house sports featured a range of activities including race’s, relays, sack races, and march past displays, all showcasing the talents and competitive spirit of the students.

‎Prince Olaide Kayode, warmly received by the school community, commended the organizers for sustaining a tradition that not only promotes physical fitness but also builds discipline, teamwork, and leadership among students.

He encouraged the participants to give their best in every event, reminding them that sports remain a vital platform for shaping character and discovering future champions.

‎The Principal of Keme Balogun Senior Secondary School, Ibeshe, Mr. Ajuwon Malik, explained that the program aligns with the various domains of education that schools are mandated to explore in order to nurture well-rounded learners.

He stated that sports remain an integral component of these domains, providing students with opportunities for physical development, teamwork, and character building.

‎“Behind this program today, we have domains of education, and as part of that, we need to engage these students in supporting activities,” he said. “These students are expected to go around all the domains of education, in which sports is part of it.”

‎The principal expressed gratitude to the Lagos State Governor and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education for their continuous encouragement and support in promoting student-centered activities across schools.

He noted that such backing enables institutions like Keme Balogun Senior Secondary School to organize impactful events that enhance both academic and extracurricular excellence.

‎Mr. Malik urged them to uphold the values of sportsmanship throughout the competition. He stressed that while not everyone would emerge as a winner, every participant must embrace fair play, discipline, and respect.

‎“To the students, I want to advise that they should imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship. Not all of them can win, but definitely the spirit of sportsmanship should be fair play, and there should be no hooliganism,” he cautioned.



‎Mrs. Ajayi Fumilayo, house mistress expressed firm confidence in the team’s performance at the school’s annual Inter-House Sports Competition.

‎Mrs. Ajayi described herself as fortunate to lead Blue House, which she proudly referred to as “the winning house.”

She assured supporters that the team would once again prove its dominance in this year’s edition of the competition.

‎“I count myself lucky to be in this house because it is the winning house,” she said. “And today, we are going to show them that we are truly the winning house.

When the time comes, everyone will see that we are the winning house.”

‎Mrs. Ajayi encouraged students to enjoy the event, give their best effort, and strive for excellence in every category.

While emphasizing the importance of sports, she also urged them to prioritize academic success.

‎“I cited the example of Mr. Olaide, who was an old student of this school, and today, look at him. Students should try, not only in sports but academically, so that at the end they will have cause to say, ‘of a truth.’”

‎She also expressed appreciation to Prince Olaide Kayode, the Patron of Blue House, for his steady support and encouragement toward the team.

‎Mrs. Olayinka Titilayo, has expressed deep appreciation for Prince Olaide Kayode, the Patron of Blue House, during the school’s 2025 Inter-House Sports Competition.

‎Mrs. Olayinka highlighted the strong presence and influence of Blue House among both staff and students, noting that the team’s identity has grown closely associated with its patron.

‎“When you look at the top among the teachers, it is Blue House,” she remarked. “Definitely there is a symbol with Prince Olaide regarding Blue House. And that symbol will not remain unsung; later it will be showcased.”

‎“We actually want to say a big thank you. He has been a loving father, a caring brother, and in fact, I don’t know the adjective to qualify him,” she said. “He is a very humble and very nice man.”

‎Mrs. Olayinka concluded her remarks with prayers for Prince Olaide, asking for continued strength, grace, and protection upon his life. “We pray that the Lord Almighty will continue to uphold him,” she added.

‎Has the event come to an end Blue House secured the top spot with outstanding performances across various categories.

Their victory was celebrated with loud cheers from students, teachers, and supporters who had predicted the house’s strong finish.

‎Yellow House came second position, Green House came Third position, and Red House Fourth Position

‎The announcement of results was met with excitement and pride, especially from Blue House, whose members and leaders—including their House Patron, Prince Olaide Kayode, and House Mistress, Mrs. Ajayi Fumilayo—had earlier expressed confidence in their team’s abilities.
