The National Association of Ikorodu Division Students (NAIDS National) has unveiled the theme for its much-anticipated Legacy Week, marking another significant milestone in the association’s history and its enduring commitment to student development within Ikorodu Division.
The Legacy Week, a flagship programme of NAIDS National, is a period dedicated to reflection, honour, and forward planning.
It serves as an opportunity to celebrate the association’s journey over the years, acknowledge the sacrifices of past leaders and heroes, and inspire current and future members to sustain and strengthen the values upon which the association was built.
NAIDS National announced the theme for the 2025 Legacy Week as “Celebrating the Legacy of Our Heroes, Today’s Achievements, Tomorrow’s Legacy.” The theme underscores the association’s resolve to honour its founding fathers and past leaders, spotlight present accomplishments, and lay a solid foundation for generations yet to come.
Speaking on the significance of the unveiling, the association described the moment as more than the launch of an event, but a defining point in its collective history.
According to NAIDS National, the theme reflects its continued dedication to unity, leadership development, community impact, and the overall growth and advancement of students across Ikorodu Division.
The unveiling also officially signals the commencement of activities leading up to the NAIDS National Legacy Week 2025, which is expected to feature programmes aimed at leadership grooming, intellectual engagement, and the celebration of excellence within the student community.
NAIDS National has called on members, alumni, and key stakeholders to actively participate in the Legacy Week, describing it as a meaningful journey of remembrance, celebration, and purpose.
The association reaffirmed that through the Legacy Week, NAIDS National remains steadfast in preserving its rich heritage while empowering today’s students to build a stronger and more impactful future, stressing that the legacy indeed continues.
