IKORODU NORTH CDC HONOURS AGM PLANNING COMMITTEE CHAIR, OLABAMIJI KOLAWOLE ~ INN Nigeria ☆

Mr. Olabamiji Kolawole, Chairman of the Planning Committee for the 2025 Ikorodu North Community Development Committee (CDC) Annual General Meeting (AGM), has been presented with an Award of Honour in recognition of his outstanding service and commitment to grassroots development.

The award was presented by Mayor Olawale Ameen Apanishile, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area (LCDA), during the CDC’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at the Ikorodu Musical Village on January 27, 2026, drawing applause from community leaders, stakeholders, and residents of the council area.

Mr. Kolawole was honoured for his pivotal role in the successful planning and coordination of the Ikorodu North CDC AGM, an event widely described as well-organised and impactful.

His leadership and dedication were noted as key factors that contributed to the smooth execution of the programme and the active participation of community associations across the LCDA.

Presenting the award, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA commended Mr. Kolawole for his selfless service, organisational capacity, and unwavering commitment to community development.

The chairman stated that the recognition is meant to encourage active citizenship and to appreciate individuals who contribute meaningfully to local governance and community growth.

In his response, Mr. Olabamiji Kolawole expressed gratitude to the LCDA leadership and members of the CDC for the honour, describing it as a motivation to do more in service to the community.
