Aarebirin Hon. Princess (Dr.) Folashade Olabanji-Oba, Global Director General of the Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors Movement (ADAM), Board of Trustees member of ALGONVC, and President of the Shelter of Grace Foundation, has extended warm felicitations to Otunba (Dr.) Saheed Ibikunle as he marks his birthday, describing him as a distinguished educationist and an exemplary public servant.
In a goodwill message released to commemorate the occasion on the 3rd of February 2026, Princess Olabanji-Oba praised Dr. Ibikunle—popularly known as Omoluabi—for his enduring commitment to educational development, effective governance, and legislative support within Lagos State and beyond.
Dr. Saheed Ibikunle is a Permanent Member of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), where he has continued to play a strategic role in shaping policies and initiatives aimed at strengthening basic education across the state.
An astute academic and seasoned educational administrator, his career has been marked by decades of service dedicated to improving learning outcomes and institutional effectiveness.
Dr. Ibikunle has also served as Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Educational Administration, a role in which he contributed significantly to policy formulation and implementation in the education sector.
His experience and expertise have earned him widespread respect among stakeholders in both academic and government circles.
Beyond his contributions to education, Dr. Ibikunle also serves as a Senior Legislative Aide to Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, who represents the Lagos East Senatorial District.
In this capacity, he has been instrumental in providing research-driven support and advisory services that enhance legislative effectiveness and constituency representation.
