Family members, friends, and well-wishers gathered on Friday, March 6, 2026, to celebrate the life and legacy of the late Pa. Arotolu Olusesan Israel, who passed away at the age of 80.
The burial service held at Igbodu Gberigbe, Ikorodu, drew a large gathering of sympathizers who came to pay their final respects to the late patriarch. Interment and a reception followed immediately at the same venue.
Earlier, a Service of Songs held along the AP Bus Stop axis of Igbodu Gberigbe attracted family members, friends, church leaders, and well-wishers who joined the family in celebrating what many described as a fulfilled and impactful life.
The solemn yet celebratory gathering featured tributes, prayers, and reflections on the life of Pa. Arotolu Olusesan Israel, remembered for his devotion to family and the values he upheld during his lifetime.
Speaking during the reception, Mr. Adekunle Oladele and Mrs. Modupe Oladele expressed deep appreciation to families, friends, and relatives for their presence and support in celebrating the life of the late patriarch.
They noted that the overwhelming show of love and solidarity from the community had brought comfort to the family during the period of mourning.
