EASTER: DR. AGBAJE SENDS WARM GREETINGS, CALLS FOR UNITY IN RURAL COMMUNITIES ~ INN Nigeria ☆

The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians across rural communities in Lagos State, emphasizing the need for unity, peace, and harmonious coexistence.

In a goodwill message released to mark the Easter celebration, Dr. Agbaje congratulated Christian faithful on the successful completion of the Lenten season, describing Easter as a period that symbolizes sacrifice, renewal, and hope for a better society.

He noted that the values exemplified by the resurrection of Jesus Christ—love, selflessness, and forgiveness—remain essential for fostering sustainable development, particularly within rural areas where communal living plays a vital role.

The Special Adviser urged residents in rural communities to embrace these virtues by promoting peaceful coexistence, mutual understanding, and collective responsibility in addressing local challenges.

He stressed that unity among residents is crucial to achieving meaningful progress and ensuring that government initiatives reach their full impact.

Dr. Agbaje reiterated the Lagos State Government’s commitment, under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES+ Agenda, to implementing people-oriented projects that improve infrastructure, enhance rural livelihoods, and bridge the development gap between urban and rural communities.

He encouraged community leaders, youth groups, and stakeholders to work collaboratively with the government to sustain development efforts and maintain peace across communities.

“Easter reminds us of the power of unity and the strength found in togetherness. As we celebrate, let us renew our commitment to building peaceful and prosperous rural communities,” he stated.

The message concluded with prayers for continued peace, progress, and prosperity across Lagos State and the nation at large.
