Divine Heritage & Giving for Living, in collaboration with Graceful Hearts of Compassion Mission, on April 11, 2026, organized a free medical outreach aimed at providing essential healthcare services to the needy in the community.

The outreach, which marked the fifth edition of the initiative, attracted a large number of beneficiaries who turned out to receive medical attention, consultation, and support from volunteer health professionals.

Founder of Divine Heritage & Giving for Living, Rev. Mrs. Ebunoluwa Idowu, emphasized the importance of good health, describing it as a vital component of a productive life.

She noted that the outreach was conceived as a way of reaching out to vulnerable members of society who may not have access to quality healthcare.

Rev. Idowu further explained that due to prevailing economic challenges, the organization had been unable to host the program for some time.

However, she expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity to revive the initiative and continue impacting lives positively.

Also speaking, the Founder of Graceful Hearts of Compassion Mission, Barr. Adeotun Gbemiga, described the organization as a Christian non-governmental organization committed to preaching the gospel, providing welfare support to prisoners, and organizing medical outreach programmes.

He accentuated that the collaboration with Divine Heritage & Giving for Living was in line with the vision God has given to the organization to reach out to people and impact lives.

He added that the programme also served as an avenue to appreciate members of the NGO for their dedication and service.

In his remarks, Rev. Kolawole Idowu advised beneficiaries to maintain a strong faith in God, stressing that divine healing plays a significant role in overall well-being.

He equally encouraged them to adhere strictly to medical advice given by healthcare professionals during the outreach.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed appreciation to the organizers for the initiative. Mrs. Janet Patrick described the outreach as timely and impactful, noting that she had not been able to visit a hospital in a long while.

She expressed gratitude for the opportunity to consult with medical personnel and receive proper care.

Similarly, Mr. Goriola Akinpelu commended the organizers for their efforts, stating that the doctors attended to beneficiaries with professionalism and care.

He called on other non-governmental organizations to emulate such initiatives in order to improve access to healthcare for underserved communities.

The outreach underscores the critical role of faith-based and non-governmental organizations in complementing government efforts toward improving public health, especially in times of economic hardship.
