CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA IKORODU CHAPTER ORGANIZES PRAYER SESSION/ROAD WALK AGAINST VIOLENCE IN IKORODU LAND ~ INN Nigeria

As different Organisations, Associations, Leaders & Stakeholders Continues to work together in fighting against Violence and Cultism in Ikorodu Division, The Christian Association Of Nigeria (CAN) Ikorodu Chapter held a Prayer session and walk procession across Ikorodu Central on the 28th of January 2021.

The Prayer session which started at the Methodist Church Of Nigeria Ita-Elewa Ikorodu, Saw different spiritual leaders, deacons and deaconess converging to pray for Peace and tranquility to rest in the Land Of Ikorodu as 2021 kicks off in full swing.

Thereafter the Procession started from Owolowo axis to Ejina Market, Adenaike Alagba, Laketu, Ladega, Alagogo, Ladega Market, Ojubode, Etunrenren, Ayangburen road and ended at the Ayangburen’s Palace.

At the Palace, The Association was received by the Ayangburen Of Ikorodu, Oba KABIR ADEWALE SHOTOBI in appreciation and thanked them for coming out to join forces with the entire Ikorodu Division to combat the lingering Violence in the Land.

“I want to thank the Leadership of this Association for responding to my invitation and Understanding that in this times we’re in, It takes a collective efforts to be Victorious against the crimes in our land” Oba KABIR ADEWALE SHOTOBI

“Prayer is key to solving this plight and I believe as we put every unrest in the hands of our Creator, Peace will come to Ikorodu“

“So in this light I want all of us to Continue to pray for Ikorodu, Every Religious bodies present will be of help as fervent prayers will result in Provision of our heart desires” Oba KABIR ADEWALE SHOTOBI Averred

A Prayer session was also held by the Association in the palace of the Ayangburen, placing the king’s Leadership and sovereignty in the hands of God.

Speaking Onbehalf of the Association in Ikorodu Division Evan. Dr. Emmanuel A. Adegoke (Coordinator CAN Ikorodu Chapter) thanked the Ayangburen of Ikorodu for not only believing in the power of prayer as a key measure to remedy the Challenges, but also inviting the Association to the palace.

“We are well aware of the problem and we have been praying about it, But with the level it has gotten to, We decided to do the prayer walk as a sensitisation and awareness over the land in order to bring the Presence Of God in Ikorodu” Dr. Adegoke

“We Appreciate our Kabiyesi for being able to know that prayer plays a major role to bring peace to this Land, While we’re are praying for Ikorodu, We Are also praying for our His Royal Majesty Oba KABIR ADEWALE SHOTOBI simply because we know these occurrences will be given him sleepless nights”

“We are urging all our respective Religious Bodies in Ikorodu Division to pray continuously and let not only the presence of God come down but also his face should shine upon us here in Ikorodu” Dr. Adegoke Added

Evan. Omobola Ilubanwo thanked the Ayangburen for Recieving the Association and also believing in the power of Prayer to elevate Ikorodu Division from the menace of crimes and Violence.

The Prayer session is slated to continue till Sunday the 31st January 2021 with a special thanksgiving service at the Celestial Church Of Christ Grammer School.
