The video which was shoot at the heart of the waterbed region in November 2022, spotlighted the rich cultural and traditional heritage of the region, paying homage to its ancestral monument recognised generally as 'Oga'.
Also captioning notable figures like the Ayangburen Of Ikorodu Kingdom, Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, Hon Babajimi Benson (MHR), Hon Sulaimon Olanrewaju (SKO), Executive Chairman, Ikorodu west LCDA, the video featured a special cameo appearance from Mr Fola Tinubu, Hon. Wasiu Adesina, Executive Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government, Bldr. Olusesan Daini, Executive Chairman, Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA, Prince Eniola Adeyemi (Wake-Up). Aarebirin Hon. Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, Vice-Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, Executive Chairman, Ijede LCDA, Hon. Balogun Rotimi Olatunbosun (BRO) and Hon. Thanking the Executive Chairman Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Bldr Sesan Daini, Chairman Imota LCDA, Prince Kunle Wasiu Agoro, and Chairman Ijede LCDA, Hon Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba for their support, Hon Aro prolonged his fondness to Legislators representing all Wards in Ikorodu Constituency II, All APC Apex Leaders across Ikorodu constituency II, LGA Chairmen Igbogbo, Imota and Ijede respectively, All LGA Excos and ward excos across the constituency, and Security personnel.

FREE DIABETES CHECK-UP: IKORODU METRO LIONS CLUB AID 300 INDIVIDUALS AT OKE-ELETU & IJEDE PHC ®™√ INN Nigeria ©

A cautionary statement by Lion Tunji Oredipe, the project chairperson of Ikorodu metropolitan lions club on the 23rd of November 2022.
Responding to a finalized free diabetes program organised by the club at both Oke-eletu health centre and Ijede council's PHC, which catered to approximately 300 patients.
According to Lion Tunji, the club first took the program to Oke-eletu health centre, and after successfully aiding more than 150 individuals, they were compelled to put up with the free program by the council's secretariat PHC to allow additional dwellers to benefit from the laudable course.
Lion Tunji proceeded, "We came to Ijede local council's health centre due to request we received from Oke-eletu to extend our goodwill measures".
"From my numerous experience in serving the club, it is obvious that diabetes can only be prevented by early check and adequate treatment from a doctor's recommendation".
"Most times, people do not realise they have diabetes until they fall ill and fall prey to its complicated, it is to that effect we promptly asked people to do frequent tests to ascertain their sugar level".
"It is traditional for our club to carry out this free diabetes program annually every November" Lion Tunji concluded.
The club earned commendations from medical experts on the ground in both health centres.

GENERAL HOSPITAL IJEDE ASSURES PROMPT MEDICAL CARE, SUPPORT ®™√ INN Nigeria ©

3838j3n3n1664132023719166046 The Medical Director/CEO, General Hospital, Ijede, Dr. Abimbola Okudero has assured patients, clients and stakeholders of prompt care and support whenever they have reasons for any medical attention. Dr. Okudero gave the assurance in his address at the Hospital's 6th Stakeholders’ Forum themed: "Our Clients, Our Family", held on Thursday at the Ijede Local Government Council Secretariat, affirming that patients are regarded as family members of the medical facility. He maintained that the management will not rest on its oars in its efforts to deliver prompt medical care and good customer service to all and sundry.
He said that the hospital administration is doing all in its capacity to ensure that the comfort and speedy recovery of patients are not taken for granted, noting that this will continue to be delivered with love, compassion and empathy.
Speaking further, the Medical Director informed that management and members of staff of the facility understand what it means to be challenged healthwise, promising all will be done to ensure continuous training and retraining of staff in order to continue to give clients quality medical care and attention while exhibiting customer-friendly attitude at all times.
His words, "Families tell each other the truth, we are always willing and ready to make the hospital better while aiming to attain global best practices in quality healthcare delivery. Your complaints are appreciated, we are giving you the assurance that they will be treated with utmost urgency and seriousness".
In his contribution, Commissioner II, Lagos State Health Service Commission (HSC) in charge of the facility, Dr. Bolaji Olukoya, reiterated the State Government's efforts toward improved quality healthcare delivery in the state, adding that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has invested a lot in the health sector to make life more meaningful and impactful for residents. While encouraging stakeholders to continue making visitations to the hospital for all their medical needs, Dr. Olukoya maintained that a healthy nation is a wealthy nation and that every life matters in the State.
Other speakers at the event include the Director, Service Delivery Unit, Lagos State Ministry of Health, Mrs. Joan Oluyemi and the representative of the Chairman of Ijede Local Council Development Area, Mr. Abdul-Kabir Kareem among others.
