The incident was reported to have happened at Odomola Junior Secondary School, Epe.
The Ministry has recalled the principal, who will be asked to explain the incident.
The Lagos State Government, the Ministry of Education and all its agencies will never instruct any school principal, personnel or teacher to act in such a manner.
The Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, reassures the public that the matter will be dealt with within the scope of our strict regulations as the reason for sending home the student is unacceptable - if true.
Mrs Adefisayo also hinted that another school principal at Odonguyan who was caught on camera, as shared on social media, promoting her political choice to the students has been subjected to appropriate disciplinary measures.
The Ministry promotes and runs a public school system devoid of politics and political insinuations. A thorough investigation of the matter will be carried out and anyone found culpable will be subjected to disciplinary measures as laid down in the civil service rules.

The meeting held on the 4th of March 2023 converged Ifedapo, Olisado, Eyinle, Ogo oluwa, Anoluwa, Onaseso, Bamgbelu, Damolapa Imole oluwa Agodongbon and Liberty CDA members.
Baales, Muslim clerics and representatives from the Christian Association of Nigeria (Ikorodu North Branch) were also in attendance.
APC ward chairman, Ward E2 erikorodo chairman was ably represented by the woman leader.
Speaking at the event, the joint CDA chairman, Comrade Oladele Winjobi instructed members to work hard to win all 5 polling units in the communities for APC.
He also communicated with party leaders to synergise with all the CDA chairmen for a successful mobilisation of members.
He further appreciated the royal fathers for honouring his call, asking them to assist the CDA executives to deliver all the polling units i.e 015 Akano junction, 004 African Bethel primary school, 013 African Bethel primary, 006 African Bethel primary and 008 Bamgbelu village. All polling agents and managers were subsequently notified to be on alert while on duty. Furthermore, engaging the youths, Former APC constituency 1 aspirant for the Lagos Assembly, Hon. Samson Bisiriyu pledged to mobilise each polling unit by providing minor logistics; vehicles to convey voters to the respective voting point.
In detail, he also vowed to convey all requests made by the CDA, including the Lucky fibre access link road to odogunyan, and the secondary school & market road to the local council and State.
He encouraged youths present to vote massively for all APC candidates, beginning from the Lagos State governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Ikorodu constituency 1 LAHA candidate Hon. Gbolahan Ogunleye (OGA).
The woman leader & all clerics implore everyone present to vote massively for Governor Sanwo-Olu and Hon. Ogunleye, promising to take the message to the churches and mosques. Many questions were asked which Hon Samson Bisiriyu answered. Igbo members of the community who were also in attendance unanimously agreed to vote APC, suing for co-existence between all tribes.
Campaign souvenirs were later shared with all members of the programme.

With the general elections barely a day to go, residents in the APC-infested region got another loud reminder, of the dominant strength of the ruling party.
Blending music and dance to the distribution of massive souvenirs along its path, the Ikorodu federal lawmaker, seized the day, and embarked on a major motorcade campaign-style rally, giving dwellers a physical view of JB, mostly seen only on posters and billboards.
Projecting the All Progressive Congress (APC) party as one dominating choice for residents to vote for, barely a day to the forthcoming general elections, Rep. Benson used his motorcade rally to remind people why the ruling party has become so popular in Ikorodu, Lagos State and all of the southwestern region of Nigeria.
Chaperoned by Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, former Lagos State Deputy Governor, his Son, APC Ikorodu Constituency 1 candidate for the Lagos State house of Assembly, Hon. Gbolahan Ogunleye (OGA), Chief Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, his daughter, Abisola Ruth Olusanya, Honourable commissioner for Agriculture in Lagos State, and APC Ikorodu constituency 2 aspirant for the Lagos State house of Assembly, Hon. Abiodun Moshood Aro (AMA), the entire movement was a sight to behold even to residents caught up in the naira scarcity crisis.
Local council development area bosses such as Bldr Olusesan Daini, Executive Chairman of Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA, Bldr Adeola Adebisi Banjo, Executive Chairman Ikorodu North LCDA, Hon. Sulaiman Olarewaju, Executive Chairman of Ikorodu West LCDA, and Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogbo, Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, were visibly seen by the side of the national legislator, doling out gifts to bystanders.
The APC motorcade campaign rally took off from Ogolonto axis of Ikorodu west LCDA, and moved to Ikorodu garage, perusing the main point before leading the way to Sabo section of the region.
The more it strode, the more it grew in number and size as numerous entourage (from the iCare foundation, AMA campaign group, OGA campaign group, Ndigbo in Ikorodu local government and members of the Lagos state parks and garage management) joined the procession, continuously building its momentum. Bypassing Sagamu road, the rally moved to Itamaga and down to Elepe, circumventing Ijede LCDA through Ginti to head back towards Igbogbo Baiyeku palace pavilion road, before cutting through Olorunfunmi Basorun road to return to the central part of the region.
At the popular Dangote road, Ikorodu Ebute-Ferry terminal, where the rally ended, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the federal lawmaker's predecessor made a surprise appearance at the gathering, enticing and entertaining the crowded audience with dance and words of encouragement.
Abike Dabiri, speaking briefing, asked every party faithfuls and non-party member to come out en mass on Saturday to vote for APC 100%.
Commending Rep. Jimi Benson for organising an explosive motorcade campaign rally across the region, Abike said that the strength of the ruling party cannot be matched, which will reflect enormously during the elections on all fronts.
On the other hand, Hon. Babajimi Benson, appreciating Hon. Abike Dabiri for her brief appearance extended his heartfelt gratitude to Ikorodu federal constituency for their show of love and support throughout the campaign season, urging them to demonstrate it more as the election kicks in full gear.

93o3k3m3mm2469260042882028786 With February 25th around the corner, the entire ward B3 Isiwu Joint CDA in Ikorodu North LCDA converged at Adamo bus stop on the 18th of February 2023 for election reasons.
The ward, comprising 70 CDAs, standing firmly behind APC, brought out community leaders, ward excos and party members en mass, galvanising eligible voters before the general elections to aid the ruling party.
Presided over by Pastor Samson Oluwasegun Omomo, Secretary to Ikorodu North CDC and Chairman of ward B3 Isiwu joint CDA, the program symbolised the CDAs official proclamation of support for the All Progressive Congress (APC) party ahead of the elections.
Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, Bldr Adeola Adebisi Banjo, who was represented by Mr Niyi Odugbesi, Secretary to the council boss, told Ikorodu News Network (INN) that the agenda seeks to prepare voters ahead.
As stated by Mr Niyi, "With the elections just days to go, this program strengthens the people's devotion to ensure victory for our party, the All Progressive Congress (APC)".
"Despite the economic downturn due to the naira scarcity, we refused to be downtrodden and weak, we'll continue to send our message across right till Election Day".
"While he had to catch up with another official assignment, Bldr Banjo requested I stood in the gap for him here, to engage our people and let them know that our country is in good hands with the APC, which will give us more developmental modification" Mr Niyi noted
Comrade Adekoya Babatunde, a ward B3 CDA chairman, illustrated that every APC card carrier should not be worried about the ongoing naira scarcity, citing the crisis as an economic frustration ploy to sway party faithfuls from exercising their civic responsibility.
He asserted that all members singing the mandate song for the development of Nigeria should be ready to demonstrate it on the 25th of February and March 11th with their PVC, voting all APC candidates from top to bottom.
Another ward B3 Isiwu chairman, Mrs Agiri Adetokunbo, in her short message, explained to able voters their expectations before and during election day.
Emphasising the need for voters to come out early on election Day, she exhorted the ward leaders to adhere to the right approach to carry out a successful franchise process.
"When you're done voting, you can equally rush back to your neighbourhood, compelling those yet to vote to take off to their voting booth and do the needful as well," she said.
Speaking on her party of choice which is the APC, Mrs Adetokunbo explained the power of women in campaigning and canvassing for voters.
"Firstly, We choose the APC party because we can see what they've achieved, which we understand can only get better".

Campaign envoys from Senator Adetokunbo Abiru, Lagos East Senatorial Diplomat, and agents from Ikorodu federal lawmaker, Hon. Babajimi Benson's iCare foundation also attended the program.
East Consultative Forum (ECF) Ikorodu North Coordinator, Hon. Matthew Adesanya, represented by Mr Adeyemi Habeeb, told Ikorodu News Network (INN) that even though Senator Abiru's job is to legislate, he has pushed beyond his commitment to execute numerous projects across the Lagos East.
According to Adeyemi Habeeb, The forum is established to propagate the feats of Senator Tokunbo Abiru and also mobilise voters to re-elect him back to the office.
Detailing the accomplishments of the Senator, Habeeb said an 80-seater bed hospital was established in Ikorodu North LCDA by Senator Abiru to support the Isiwu community, which lessened the stress load on Ikorodu general hospital.
Habeeb clarified that Senator Abiru also facilitated the installation of transformers.
"There are elders in the community that are beneficiaries of Senator Abiru's covid-19 relief aid, putting 10 thousand naira in their account monthly, not to talk about students' bursary programs which the distinguished Senator has consistently provided too".
"We came to accentuate his works to allow the 70 CDAs to understand what the Senator has performed in the last two years".
"We're also here to encourage them to lend Senator Abiru and all other APC candidates their vote come February 25th and March 11th, and we're happy that they've demonstrated their support to us." Adeyemi Habeeb asserted.
Highlighting the APC flag-bearers, Pastor Samson Omomo, told Ikorodu News Network that his CDAs have seen what the party has done for its communities and the best way to show their appreciation is by voting for them in return.
He explains, "Due to reasons that the party Reps are doing a wonderful job, it's a sign that more development is yet to come from them, they must be given more opportunities".
"My CDA has directly benefitted from new transformer installations facilitated by Senator Tokunbo Abiru and Hon. Babajimi Benson".
"The clear message we're approving is for all our CDA members to come out during the elections on both the 25th of February and the 11th of March to vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (as President of Nigeria), and Governor Sanwo-Olu (as Lagos State Governor re-elect)"
"Also, they must vote for Senator Mukahil Adetokunbo Abiru (re-electing him for Lagos East), Hon.
