Ikeja Electric has appealed on the 29th of January 2022, to its prospective customers over the recent power outage witnessed in parts of Lagos State
According to a statement made accessible to the community media platform by its corporate communication manager, Mr Felix Ofulue, it reads, “the power outage you have been experiencing in certain parts of our network, is due to load shedding by Transmission as a result of a drop in power generation”
He moved ahead stating that Ikeja Electric apologize for the drawbacks and wish to ascertain that specialised teams are toiling with other partners in the electricity value chain to rectify the situation. He continued, “Normalcy will be restored as soon as stability is achieved“
“Affected areas include Iju, Abule Odu, Egbeda, Oregun, Anifowoshe, Ago, Okota, Oke Afa, Ajao, Amuwo, Ikosi, Mende, Ogudu, Bariga, Oworo, Gbagada and Ilupeju” Mr Felix surmised
