The Ibile Eko Forum Ikorodu Chapter engaged it’s ward leaders across Ikorodu for an executive meeting with the coming of 2023.
The meeting was held at Ladegboye axis of Ikorodu and saw the gathering of the different five ward leaders coming together for the first time.
The forum’s aim which is to grow a loyal base across the region deliberated on ways to advance empowerment and reach out to both indigenes and non indigenes in Ikorodu.
Hon. Olajumoke Module Fakoye the Coordinator for Ikorodu region stated that the forum is a non tribal based platform and welcomes every residents of Ikorodu in the spirit of unity and progress to better the lives of everyone in the community.
Though the forum is a multi party advocate system, it is mostly spear headed by the APC and Jandor Foundation runned by Hon. Abdulaziz Babajide Adediron.
“We have decided to use this platform to reach out to all in Ikorodu, to both empowerment and counsel them, we shall also be looking at the girl child empowerment”, Said Mrs. Fakoya.
The forum is gearing up for their first inauguration in Ikorodu at the Town Hall on the 2nd of April 2020 with special Ankara for all members to be displayed on that day.
“It is expected that the forum will make a mark that will further advance their course in the land immediately after the inauguration and we looking forward to begin the impact!” She stated.
