Apr 1, 2020

20200401_124946-COLLAGE When it was announced that there was going to be a state wide lockdown in order for the government to work fervently with health institutions to contain the CoVid-19 pandemic in Lagos state, It almost seemed like an impossible adjustment until it was eventually enforced.

The lock down has now been effective for two days straight and it looks like residents have no choice than to correspond for health and safety reasons.

This is the actual reality of the Elepe-Ijede region of Ikorodu which reminds us closely about the same equivalent atmosphere of the community during the 2019 election periods.

Screenshot_20200401-125014It has been recorded that we now have a total of 139 cases of infected persons and 2 deaths Nigeria with Lagos at the top of the chart, It is only wise for all residents to follow instructions and adhere to the regulations in order to fight and effectively combat the CoVid-19 pandemic.

It should be noted that the NCDC has decided to work towards increasing their testing capacity to 1,500 persons per day which will help reduce the level of tension growing in the state.
