IKORODU DIVISION NOT TOO YOUNG TO RUN UNDER THE AUSPICES OF IKORODU DIVISION YOUTH INITIATIVE MOVEMENT (IDYIM)

IMG-20200613-WA001321 years of unfettered democratic dispensation is indeed a notable milestone to be celebrated, the interruption we have not had basically suggests that we are on the right track and we have started building great edifices on the strong foundations laid by our fore-bearers.

In upholding the tenets of democracy and ensuring June 12 eternally remains remarkable,we must stand to protect all positive ideals the day ever stood for, from the free and fair electoral process to the detribalized voting patterns across the Country, patriotic disposition of the front-liners among other commendable precedents set by the nation more than two decades ago.

One of the most vivid realizations that will be suicidal to discard is the inclusion of youths in all affairs of the nation especially in governance and its build up as they hold forth all important ideals for the future generation.

It is quite delightful that the youths involved in the pro-democratic struggle are today strong bolsterers of our democracy, the likes of Dele Momodu(33),John Kayode Fayemi(28),Omoyele Sowore(22) and even the great Asiwaju Bola Tinubu(41) are notable names of leading youth figures as such we must never trivialize the lesson of youth inclusion as it is very important for our future.

Another June 12 without an annulment might be practicable in 2023,it apparently requires the experience of the elderly and strength of the youth,we all must be united.

We wish all Nigerians happy democracy and a long standing democratic dispensation.
