LAGOS EAST SENATORIAL BYE-ELECTION, IKORODU DIVISION ON TOTAL LOCKDOWN FOR APC CANDIDATE MR.TOKUNBO ABIRU ~ INN Nigeria

Ahead of the oncoming Lagos East Senatorial Bye-Election slated for October 31st, 2020 the good people of Ikorodu Division comprising Ikorodu LG,Ijede, Ikorodu West, Ikorodu North,Imota and Igbogbo-Bayeku LCDAs trooped enmass to welcome the Golden Son of the Soil, Former Polaris Bank MD and All Progressives Congress(APC) Senatorial Candidate in the oncoming Bye-Election, Mr.Tokunbo Mukhail Abiru at the Stakeholders’ Meeting held at Ikorodu Town Hall.

The venue of the Stakeholders’ meeting was filled to capacity by mamoth All Progressives Congress (APC) Supporters from the Lagos East Senatorial District to affirm their support and pledge their readiness and total submission to the saleable candidate of the Party at the next Senatorial Bye-Election.

All Progressives Congress(APC) Leaders across the Lagos East Senatorial District from Ikorodu, Ikorodu North, Ikorodu West, Ijede, Imota, Igbogbo-Bayeku, Kosofe, Somolu, Bariga, Agboyi-Ketu, Ikosi-Isheri, Ikosi-Ejirin, Eredo, Epe, Ibeju-Lekki and Lekki, GAC Members, House of Representative Member, former and current House of Assembly Members, Council Chairmen, Council Vice Chairmen, SLGs, Council Legislators, Party Chairmen, Religious Leader, CDC Chiefs, Artisans, LASCOTA, Transporters,Women Leaders,Non-Indigenes, Physically Challenged, Party Faithfuls, and a host of others were in attendance to mobilize for the Party Flagbearer and promised to make a loud statement in the oncoming election.

Apex Leaders Abiodun Ogunleye and Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun sensitized the teeming supporters on the need to speak with our votes having known that the Candidate is highly experienced and fully prepared for the task ahead.

Asipa Kaoli Olusanya emphasized the need to double the efforts to ensure we record the highest ever number of votes in the forthcoming election to negotiate big things in terms of dividends and opportunities on the bigger political table for the Ikorodu Division. With this, the echo of being marginalized in the scheme of things within the State would be bygone.

Chief Bode Oyedele, Hon.Abike Dabiri-Erewa and Hon.Jimi Benson all buttressed that the effort must be all-inclusive but reasonably aggressive to ensure total and convincing Victory at the October 31st Election and Ikorodu Division must reciprocate the gesture of being gifted with the Party’s Candidate.

Hon.SOB Agunbiade and Hon.N.S Solaja both House of Assembly Members appealed to take the message to nooks and crannies of Ikorodu Division and Lagos East in general to get it done, make their support translate to victory with the highest margin ever.

The Party Flagbearer and Lagos East Senatorial Candidate at the Bye-Election Mr.Tokunbo Abiru appreciated the massive support and warm welcome. He promises quality representation, more opportunities for Youth and Women, pledged not to take the gesture of being elected into the Red Chamber for granted.

He furthered stated that he would emulate all former Senators from Lagos East, having peformed brilliantly to drive in laudable projects and programs to the good people of the Senatorial District.
