A tanker went up in flames earlier at the Berger end along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Lagos State Emergency Management Agency has responded to the distress call and work is ongoing to curtail it from spreading.
It was reported that a 40-ft containerized trailer laden with fabric had a brake failure while on motion rammed into a fuel tanker laden with 33,000litres PMS at Otedola bridge inwards Ojodu-Berger.
The collision resulted into fire outbreak. The incident was proactively managed by all emergency agencies including Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, we awaits tow trucks for their removal in a short.
Motorists are still using Ogunusi road to connect Berger and continue their journey, which made it a crawling traffic on Ogunusi road and Agidingbi road(backlog at First gate on Agidingbi road).
Due to the reported fire outbreak On Otedola bridge(already put off), this has dragged traffic backward Ojota bridge for those coming inward Berger, it has also affected movement from Mobil filling station on Agidingbi road, same as County hospital on Ogunusi road inward Berger.
