We all witnessed how a peaceful agitation for reform rapidly deteriorated into mayhem and violence.

In spite of this sad development, I am pleased to observe that OWODE / IBESHE  have continued to demonstrate that we are a peace-loving, law-abiding, patriotic community.

To this end, I say thank you all, I also appeal to all our citizens to continue to uphold these uncommon virtues that define us.

Let us remain vigilant in monitoring activities around our immediate environment while we maintain fidelity with the directives of the State and Federal Governments during these trying times.

I assure you that the security agencies stand at the ready to repel any attempted incursions into our communities. We are committed to keeping everyone safe.
