
Ikorodu General Hospital, Imota annex is agog as Imota Students’ Union kicks off her 2020 edition of the Union Week with a Free Health Medical Checkup and Health Enlightment Exercise.
The resident of Imota community have started trooping into the venue as early as 7:30AM as Doctors, Nurses, Health Educators, NGOs are on standby receiving them.
The program attended to over 200 people consisting majorly of aged citizens, pregnant women, adults, and young people residing in Imota community.
The program witnessed the presence of His Royal Majesty, Oba Mudashiru Ajibade Bakare Agoro, The Ranodu Of Imota, and Hon. Sunday A. Benson, the vice chairman of Imota LCDA who took time to encourage the people to see taking care of their health and general wellbeing as an important exercise.
Comrade Adebogun Oriyomi Modupe, the chairman organising committee for ISU Week 2020 in his reaction appreciates all the doctors, nurses, and NGOs such as Damsy Foundation, Community Human Right Foundation, and USAID that rendered selfless services towards the success of the program.
He also appreciates all the sponsors of ISU Week 2020 for their impact and in furtherance, all the comrades that sacrifice time, energy and intellect towards the success of the program.
