LEADERS GALVANISE SUPPORT FOR MOTUNRAYO GBADEBO-ALOGBA AS APC FLAGS OFF LG CAMPAIGN IN IJEDE LCDA ®™√ INN Nigeria ©

Supporters of the All progressive congress (APC) staged a massive rally defying a rainy day for Motunrayo Gbadegbo-Alogba around Ijede LCDA simultaneously flagging off her official campaign ahead of the local government elections.

The campaign which took place at the APC’s secretariat in Ijede LCDA on the 8th of July 2021, played host to different stakeholders, community leaders and religious bodies affirming their support for the incumbent vice-chairman to become next chairman of the local council development area and also Mr Kabir Kareem (former CPS to the chairman) as Vice Chairman respectively.

Reflecting a symbol of the progressive nature of the party, leaders including Honourable Nurudeen Saka Solaja (representing Ikorodu constituency 2 at the Lagos state house of assembly), Chief Adewale Shakirudeen Ajala (Vice-Chairman, Ijede Resource Forum) and Bldr Sesan Daini (Incumbent Chairman Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA) solicited inhabitants of Ijede LCDA to grow their rally and base around the party’s candidate and vote subsequently to give her the victory card.

“This is the time we need all our party faithfuls to come out en masse and support our candidate, it is time to show our commitment to the course of our mandate as members of the All Progressive Party (APC)” Hon Nurudeen Saka Solaja

“We now have to put all our differences aside and come together as one big happy family to help uplift Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba as the next chairman of Ijede LCDA” Chief Adewale Ajala

The outgoing chairman of Ijede LCDA (Hon Fatiu Salisu) called on supporters and members of the party to canvass and ensure Motunrayo Gbadegbo-Alogba emerge victoriously on the 24th of July at the elections.

“As vice-chairman, she understood her role administratively and knew her responsibilities. I watched her precision and her loyalty, Thus, am confident she’s equal to the task ahead as a young and vibrant youth to live up to every governmental expectation towards the growth of Ijede LCDA” Hon Fatiu Salisu

In her appreciation remarks Motunrayo Gbadegbo-Alogba thanked leaders and stakeholders for accepting and believing in her candidacy.

“Am sincerely overwhelmed by the show of love, conviction and support by both the young and the old. I pray to almighty God to equip me with the knowledge and wisdom to live up to the expectations”

“I thank members of the Governor’s Advisory Council in Ikorodu; HE Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Bashorun and Senator Tokunbo Abiru, for leading the light. Chairman House Committee on Defence, House of Representatives, Rep. Babajimi Benson for his continuous guidance and mentoring. I thank the Lagos State House of Assembly Majority Leader, Hon. SOB Agunbiade, for your fatherly support. APC leaders in Ijede; Alhaji Amusa, Honourable Hassan Adefarasin, Baba Oba of Egbin Golden J, our Party Chairman, Sunday Kareem, Alhaji Fahm, Alhaja Olubi, Alhaji Shodis, Hon Ileyemi Johnson, Chief Ajala, Chief Raji Olodo, Chief Nojeem Fasasi, Evangelist Falohun and many others too numerous to mention for taking me as their daughter.

Mayor Deen Sanwo-Ola (DG iCare Foundation), Chief Raji Olodo, Billiammin Lekan Oba (Lagos State Chairman, National Youth Council Of Nigeria), Chief Nojeem Fasasi, Hon Ileyemi Johnson and Honourable Hassan Adefarasin were also in attendance amongst other dignitaries.
