As the local government elections draw closer, aspirants, leaders, party loyalists and supporters are gearing up to speed in rallying their respective base towards a massive turnout of votes to clinch victory on the 24th of July 2021.

Just A day after his Excellency, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu charged candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming local government elections to replicate the political victories of the party being witnessed across the country in the poll during the handing over of party flags to the 20 local government and 37 local council development areas chairmanship candidates ahead of the local government poll at the All Progressives Congress secretariat located in Ogba area of Lagos state, Hon Wasiu Adesina (incumbent chairman of Ikorodu local government) took his campaign trail back to Ikorodu central, receiving massive reception from ward members and stakeholders alike.

Hon wasiu Adesina, also accompanied by his incumbent vice chairman (Aarebirin Hon Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba) got a warm reception as they took their campaign trail to Ward B of Ikorodu LG with projections to also hit Ward E and Ward F in the same day.

Hosted by his prospective councillor for Ward B (Hon Mutiat Fatuga) the chairman in his speech of overwhelming joy, appreciated 5 ward Chairmen across Ikorodu local government for standing by him from the beginning of the campaign till the end, stating that it was their trust and belief in his leadership that gave him the tenacity and motivation to push through the primaries.

“I want to salute Mr Governor, His Excellency, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Executive Governor Of Lagos State) for charging us yesterday during the handing over of party flags, He boosted my confidence coming back to Ikorodu with only victory in-sight.
