The edifice of Oshodi Arts gallery and it’s entire management team received the permanent secretary, ministry of Tourism, culture and art Lagos state (Princess Adenike Adedoyin-Ajayi) on the 1st of February 2022
Chaperoned by her director of tourism, director of strategic planning, personal assistant to the senior special adviser on tourism in lagos state and reps from numerous departments on tourism, the official visit was met with mostly positive reviews at the 2nd largest art collection centre in Africa, based in Ikorodu
Marveled by the facility expanse and magnitude of masterpiece positioned around the gallery, the PS asserted that her long overdue visit was based on constant recommendation by partners and ranking file staffs in the ministry who have touched down the structure prior
Princess Adenike Adedoyin-Ajayi proceeded, “What am seeing here is considered world class standard, I guess the reason why we’ve not heard much about this structure is due to lack of adequate publicity, and I want to strongly urge the CEO of this influential contour to execute more advertising and propaganda”
Discovering the structure also epitomizes 7 different studios (including painting, graphics, animation, ceramics, textiles and the newly built fashion room) with a lot of production machines and in-house manufactured fabrics, the PS explored opportunities to unlock channel for active partnership from the ministry, enabling community development liaison with the Art Centre
She continued, “Everything about this art centre is unique and different from what I’ve seen across Lagos state. And also after seeing students (from Laspotech, Yabatech and Ambrose Ali University in Ekpoma) presently undergoing their IT training, I crave to commend this organisation and establishment to go on with the good works been performed here”
