The Executive Chairman Of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon Wasiu Adesina has affirmed his plans to host Master Abdulazeez Abdulrahman, winner of the just concluded spelling competition in Lagos

Azeez, a student of Oriwu Senior Model College, Ikorodu, on Thursday 17th March, emerged the winner of the 20th edition of the Spelling Bee competition for public school students held at Adeyemi-Bero Auditorium, Alausa, Ikeja

The council boss gave the exclusive information to Ikorodu News Network (INN) on Sunday the 20th of March, stating, “Abdulrahman has made the entire Ikorodu division proud and deserves an official hosting at the local government secretariat”

Adesina continued, “Abdulazeez Abdulrahman, an education district 11 student, made us all proud for his excellent performance at the just concluded spelling bees competitions“

“What he has achieved will go a long way to challenge, encourage and motivate other students to step up their intellectual capacity and meet up with academic excellence too”

“We’re looking forward to hosting him and his school administrators from Oriwu senior model college at the council soon” Adesina asserted

Based on his accomplishments, Azeez was subsequently given the opportunity of being the Lagos One-Day Governor, presented with a cash gift of N300,000, a trip to Finland, and a scholarship to any public university in the state.
