Education as a key means to liberate the mindset of individuals and a perfect measuring tool to attract adequate community expansion was the drive adopted by Prince Eniola Adeyemi, a young and vibrant Ikorodu division leader.
To encourage bright learners, who are incapable of accessing Jamb forms due to deprivation of funds, Prince Eniola Adeyemi on the 23rd of March 2022, hosted hundreds of green students at Oteju hall in Ikorodu ultra-modern town hall.
The annual educational aid programme which has been implemented for the past 5years pulled fresh scholars from across Ikorodu division for the screening scheme which elapsed throughout the whole day.
According to Prince Eniola Adeyemi, 500 students are to benefit from the program in 2022, synchronising it with his newly initiated political movement ‘Wake-Up’
Eniola Adeyemi continued, “Educating people means giving them the freedom to life’s voyage, this program is targeted at youths coming from a background that’s not well to do, it is a sponsorship scheme intended for touching lives and seeking a reasonable future for our young ones in Ikorodu”
“We have a lot of brilliant lads that lack the adequate financial backing to press further academically, this is why we experience the rise in social vices, due to reasons that a lot of our young ones have no ideal assistance to continue with their life aspirations”
“Our generation is coming from behind simply because we have many uneducated youths hanging around, and what they’re exposed to are only measures that bring social unrest to our numerous communities. The idleness has become a norm to them because that’s what the environment has presented. But ‘Wake-Up’ is bringing something new and fresh to elevate their spirit, soul and body as a form of societal revival”
