HRM Oba Adekunle Okunoye, Eburu of Iba Kingdom, HRM Ajibade Adebowale Adegbite, Alaketu of Ketu Kingdom, HRM Oba Sulaimon Oguntunji Adedoye, Oluwaloni 1, Aare Asoju Oodua south south, Agbaye Commander, Alhaji Ismail Olayemi Apase Chairman/CEO Apase Group of Companies were among a plethora of dignitaries that arose at the 4th World Omoluabi day.
The Festival slash Ori Award event which mostly displays the cultural ancestry of Yorubas at home and abroad took place at the Ojaja arena, Grand resort and industrial hub in Osun state of Nigeria on the 1st of May 2022.
Tagged “Isokan Yoruba 2022”, the event feature lectures centred around the issues of security and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians, emphasizing the Yoruba belief of Omoluabi and its core significance of quality, hard work, persistence and honesty.
With sensational performances from Ogo Ife, Afin Osupa, Lose Melody & Band, guests were fascinated with the best of Bata, Sango and Adigun Olowe yoruba production.

In his opening remark, the global president of the Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide, Aare Barr. Oladotun Hassan expressed his profound gratitude to the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja 11 on behalf of the entire Yoruba sons and daughters, for his steadfast support and fatherly role in propelling the initiative to a greater height.
Aare Oladotun Hassan further stated that it’s high time Nigerians, mostly especially Yoruba people get the proper orientation of rights as citizens at cottages and abroad which would help them play a better role in the nation-building process.
Aare Hassan pointed out, “this ceremony creates an avenue for communicating critical issues of development affecting Yoruba people in particular and the nation in general
In Yorubaland, what we define as Omoluabi is integrity, hard work, perseverance and sincerity. We have a philosophy for every version of this celebration and that is for us to utilize the chance to deal with critical problems of national advancement like having a Yoruba version of the Nigerian Constitution to provide better understanding for non-English speaking Yorubas”
“The discourse also gives us measure to align the British established system which we adopted from the early days and input better and flexible principles that would foster the ideal growth we clamour for overtime”

“A lot of our people are not well informed so they underperformed at each level which is resulting in default in our overhaul growth procedure, this is why Omoluabi as an annual event will continue to shine a light on our path to greatness” Aare Hassan asserted
A book titled “Social vices, ritual killings, Cybercrimes, teenage sex effects and the way out”, written by Tunde Ogunsuyi (biding to create effective awareness to children in primary and secondary institutions on the dangers of finding solace in bad companies, influences and decision making) was launched during the program.
Dr Awofusi Racheal O., in her brief lecture on managing safety to combat crimes and insecurity across the nation, stated that everyone has to be security conscious to withstand the defected neighbourhoods confronting the challenge in the country.
She continued, “If Omoluabi initiative is established in schools to operate with every security agencies, the affiliation will bring a close marking to all bodies involves which will result in absolute checks and balance in the system (especially in the primary and secondary educational sphere)”
“We’re looking at having a feasible report from Ige Folayinka (head of National school crime protection corps) on cases that arise in schools, so we can know the area to amplify our works” Dr Awofusi expanded

Sitting in the chasm for the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja 11, HRM Oba Adekunle Okunoye, Eburu of Iba Kingdom subsequently inaugurated the Yoruba council of women worldwide, Yoruba council of Students worldwide, Identity Card and Omoluabi school club.
The highlight of the ceremony saw the conferment of the Omoluabi Royal Icon (ORI) Awards to deserving sons and daughters of Oduduwa.
Other notable guests include; Alhaja (Mrs) Ganiyat Morayo, Mrs Bukola Adebowale, King Raymond (African Boxing Champion), Alhaji Olakunle Afeez Osho, Yeye Kelubia Igudia Ajose (Yeye Oodua Agbaye), Akowe Odo Oodua, Abdulkabir Ajibode, Ayuba Dhikirullahi etc.
