TCCG FC ENCOUNTERS 2ND DERBY LOSS TO SAPHIRE FC AT STRONG TOWER ON MAY 1ST ®™√ INN Nigeria ©

TCCG FC, popularly known as Majemu Boys experienced another setback in the ongoing nationwide division one league tournament on Sunday the 1st of May 2022, at their strong tower pitch conveyed for the team a sad entry into the new month.
The intense clash which captioned the home team playing against Sapphire football club ended controversially in 2 goals to 1, favouring Sapphire FC.

Raising concerns on how the game was officiated, TCCG FC management has persuaded the Nationwide league one bureaucrats to look into how the game was regulated, due to watched motives that the club (TCCG FC) was denied two foul plays which would have given the team a penalty bid against Sapphire FC.

According to Bishop Festus Otunsanya (Founder, TCCG FC), the officials of the game deserve to be interviewed on their manner of officiating the game, which was perceived to be biased against the home team.

Bishop Festus continued, “Before granting penalty kick to Sapphire FC, we had two foul plays which would have resulted to us getting penalty kicks against Sapphire FC, but the referee denied us, that was very unreasonable to the ethics of the game as we all know it to be”

“The contest was well recorded via video as we have a tape of the encounter which we have also sent to the organisers for thorough investigations”

“We’re hoping to hear from them soon as regards their final verdict on either to nullify the match for a replay or to accept the score lines and move on, nevertheless, it is quite alarming that the level of our officiating is very poor which affects the growth of our sports”

TCCG Football club has been outstanding and impressive in the competition, participating for the first time. With a whopping 3 point shortage (as the aftermath of the match played), the team is expected to shift towards the 5th & 6th position on the league table.
