In a statement obtained by Ikorodu News Network (INN) on the 21st of August 2022, signed by Sola Sokoya, board secretary, Ikorodu division youth initiative (IDYI), the not-for-profit non-governmental, non-partisan organisation whose core objectives are to promote youth inclusiveness, active youth participation and community service has officially dissolved its executive wing.

According to the article, the initiative is committed to integrity as its core value, sensitive to its mandate and always operates according to the law establishing it.

The announcement continued, “All serving members of the Executive Management Council have completed a tenure of two calendar years as enshrined in our constitution”.

“The joint meeting of the Board of Trustee and Executive had resolved to dissolve the Executive Management Council”.

“Application for expression of interest to fill the vacant positions will soon be made public”.

“Finally, we remain focused and committed to our mandate (youth and community service), striving to bring Ikorodu Division to an enviable height in the league of Divisions of Lagos State” The proclamation concluded.
