In his consecutive feat to propel education as an ambitious tool to steer societal growth, Hon. Wasiu Ayodeji Adesina, Executive Chairman, Ikorodu LG, made good his gesture as earlier pledged to academia in the region.

The presentation of 100 free GCE forms to students in Ikorodu local government, registered fully at various centres took place at the council secretariat on the 12th of September 2022.

According to the council boss, the free forms are aimed to assist parents who lack the money to cater to their children and wards for the forthcoming examination.

Reducing stress and financial burdens, Adesina told parents that the forms have been registered at various institutional points in Ikorodu, adding that he’s also facilitating a 2-week coaching class to aid the students in sufficient performance.

He promised to continually give assisting hands to the students in bestowing to their education for success, ensuring their absolute focus to conserve their destinies.

Urging parents to be better role models for the children, Adesina further pledged the sum of three hundred thousand naira (300,000.00) for the best top 3 outstanding beneficiaries post-examination.
