Opportunities presented themselves yet again to public senior secondary schools across Ikorodu division to showcase their senses as Ikorodu local government partners Kaodwad & Associates.
With 16 schools assigned, sorted into 2 sets and stretched for 2 preliminaries, the spotlight gave route for the 2022 outstanding debate competition which kicked off on the 21st of September 2022.
Creating a niche for pupils to exhibit bravery, research, strength and brilliance, the contest is all, aimed at boosting students’ performance levels in a public setting.

According to the council boss, his administration is open to every channel to enhance the standard of education in the entire Ikorodu division.
He continued, “Aside from putting infrastructures in place, organising competitive programs like this, is another way to promote education and allow our students to show what they have learnt in school to the rest of the world”.
“The council partnered with Kaodwad & associates after seeing what they have to offer, understanding the significance of education to any region, and so this debate contest has come to stay”.
“To further add value to this contest, we’re given 500k (five hundred thousand naira) to the first position, 300k (three hundred thousand naira) to the second position and 200k (two hundred thousand naira) to the third position respectively”.
