Ikorodu Local Government Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Adesina has affirmed that the council is set to launch its Security Joint Task Force (JTF).

Aimed at enhancing its security measures, the council boss told Ikorodu News Network (INN) on Monday 12th of December 2022, that the local safety outfit which has been undergoing training would flag-off operations soon.

According to the chairman, the ensemble is structured to complement the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies across the division in the detection and prevention of crimes in the communities within its turf.

“Our officers will work closely with the Nigeria Police, the Civil Defence, and other Security agencies, particularly in the area of intelligence sharing” Adesina added
