Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Adesina has extended his congratulatory message to the entire executives and members of Oriwu Club Ikorodu.
The message was issued by the council boss to felicitate the prestigious club as it marks its 50th anniversary.
In his brief message to Ikorodu News Network (INN) on the 11th of September 2023, Adesina praised the club for its numerous supportive gestures towards the growth and development of Ikorodu division, asserting that the club should continue in its act of kindness to humanity.
In his words, “Celebrating 50 years of existence as a club is one thing, but celebrating 50 years of flourishing and touching lives is another aspect, Oriwu club is a combination of both”.
“The existence of the club today shows the credibility of our founding fathers, who in all sense of fulfilment came together to establish this great club that has stood the tests of time”.
“On behalf of the entire Ikorodu Local Government body, I want to extend my profound congratulations to Oriwu Club of Ikorodu”.
“We are grateful that God has used their establishment to impact us all, and I want to urge them to continue fulfilling their core objectives”.
