Illustrating generosity and support for the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ikorodu Local Government Area (LGA), Hon. Wasiu Adesina personally acquired a Toyota Highlander Jeep and presented it to the APC Ikorodu LGA Chairman, Alhaji Waheed Animashaun.
The presentation took place on Friday, the 13th of October, 2023, at the APC party secretariat in Ikorodu.
The luxurious car was presented by the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government to Alhaji Adeola Jokomba, the Lagos State APC party Secretary, who, in a gracious gesture, then presented the car to the Ikorodu LGA APC party chairman.
Hon. Wasiu Adesina, in his assertions, emphasized the interconnectedness of the party’s progress and the welfare of its leaders.
He stressed that the progress of the party signifies the progress of its numerous administrators, and it is only right for party stakeholders to benefit from the dividends of democracy.
“This act of generosity serves as a testament to my commitment to the party and its ideals” Adesina asserted.
Before handing over the key to the party chairman, Adeola Jokomba took a moment to express his gratitude to Hon. Wasiu Adesina, underscoring the significance of this generous act in furthering the goals of the All Progressive Congress.
He stated, “This car gift signifies the loyalty of Wasiu Adesina to our party. He has supported the party chairman in Ikorodu from his pocket, which means the progress of the party will only make him go higher.”
Alhaji Waheed Animashaun, visibly elated and appreciative of the car gift, expressed his gratitude to the council chairman.
He noted that such a generous gesture had never been undertaken before, underlining the importance of party unity and support in achieving their collective objectives.
According to Alhaji Animashaun, the donation of the Toyota Highlander Jeep is a symbolic act of unity and support within the APC in Ikorodu LGA, further solidifying the party’s goals and showcasing the dedication of its members to its continued growth and prosperity.
