The Christ Compassion Crusade’s first night in Ikorodu witnessed a powerful message delivered by Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, the founder of KICC (Kingsway International Christian Centre).

Speaking to a jam-packed crowd at Igbogbo stadium, the pastor emphasized the detrimental effects of carrying evil minds.

According to Pastor Matthew, harboring evil thoughts leads to a path of hatred, failure, and missed blessings.

He warned that an individual with an evil mind not only hinders their progress but also affects those around them, especially those meant to assist them.

“You automatically abort good things with an evil mind,” Pastor Matthew stated, highlighting the destructive nature of negative thoughts.

He further asserted that individuals marked by the devil, despite their talents and gifts, often struggle to make progress in life.

During his sermon, the clergyman prayed for the residents of Ikorodu, urging them to receive heavenly testimonies.

He promised that the “mark of opposition, rejection, impossibilities, the slipperiness of blessings, frustration, and abortion of dreams, as well as non-achievement,” was leaving the people of Ikorodu that very night.

Pastor Matthew shared a personal anecdote, mentioning that he had lived in London for 40 years as of February 2024.

He pointed out that some people in London did not have better lives than those residing in Gberigbe, Ikorodu. He emphasized that one’s location does not determine their success; rather, it’s about who is walking with them.

He encouraged the audience to allow God to walk with them, believing that such a partnership would lead to a positive change in their life stories.
