Marking Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe’s 80th birthday, the Ikorodu Division Development Initiative (IDDI) and Ikorodu division youths came together to honor the veteran politician for his outstanding contributions to the growth of the entire Ikorodu division.

The group presented a special portrait to Senator Ogunlewe, recognizing him as a quintessential leader who has played a pivotal role in the development of the region.

The portrait was unveiled at the Methodist church Igbogbo, where the leader had a special birthday service ceremony attended by well-wishers, political associates and traditional rulers across the division.

Prince Kayode Olaide, a prominent figure within the IDDI, led the presentation, expressing gratitude for Senator Ogunlewe’s unwavering commitment to the betterment of Ikorodu.

Olaide told Ikorodu News Network about the senator’s visionary leadership, citing various initiatives and projects that have positively impacted the lives of residents across the division especially in education.

“Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe is not just a politician; he is a true statesman and a beacon of hope for Ikorodu. His dedication to the well-being of our people has brought about remarkable growth and development,” remarked Prince Kayode Olaide during the ceremony.

The IDDI and Ikorodu division youth members, in their congratulatory messages, praised Senator Ogunlewe for his decades of public service and leadership, acknowledging his role in fostering unity and progress within the Ikorodu division.
