In a press conference held today, the organizers of the highly anticipated 2023 Igbogbo Magical Festivista revealed exciting details about the upcoming event.

Scheduled for the 24th of December 2023, this maiden edition promises to captivate residents of Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA with a night of unparalleled entertainment.

Hon. Dawuda Oshilaja, a spokesperson for the event, emphasized that the show, commencing at 4 pm and lasting until Christmas day, aims to spotlight hidden talents within the local community.

He expressed the organizers’ commitment to providing a platform for these talents to showcase their skills and access better opportunities.

Partnering with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), the Festivista will also address the importance of a healthy lifestyle, further enhancing its impact on the community.

Comrade Odusanya Omotayo, popularly known as Tysleek, highlighted the event as a pivotal initiative by the executive chairman, Bldr Sesan Daini, to empower local entertainers.

Drawing parallels to the ONE LAGOS FEST, he stated, “If we don’t take the bull by the horn, then we can’t break barriers.”

The organizers are keen on breaking barriers and tapping into the abundant entertainment resources the community possesses.

The event is positioned to become an annual showcase, contributing to the growth of the local entertainment scene.

Addressing security concerns, Mr. Micheal Babatunde Ayeni assured attendees of maximum security during the event, commending the Agarawu Igbogbo youths for their dedication.

Comr. Babatunde Oyesanya T.O.D, Ikorodu Divisional Youth Leader, urged the organizers to ensure sustained publicity beyond the event day, fostering momentum for subsequent editions.

He expressed confidence that the unique concept would stand the test of time if properly followed up.

The extravaganza will feature a star-studded lineup including a Superstar DJ, renowned artists, free drinks, free games, and free hangouts.

Attendees can expect a diverse range of entertainment, showcasing both special guests and local talent.

Prominent figures such as Mr. Adeyemi Benson, Mr. Seidu Shakiru (Publisher for Mega Xpression Magazine), Mr Kunle Adelabu of the ‘Impact Newspaper’, Dhee-P (artist), Opeyemi Adebambo, and IKD 106.1 FM Radio Ikorodu presenter were present at the press conference, underscoring the significance and support for the Igbogbo Magical Festivista.
