Igbogbo witnessed an unprecedented gathering as residents flocked to the heart of the town for the first-ever IGBOGBO MAGICAL FESTIVISTA on Christmas Eve.

Staged near the majestic palace of the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, the event, powered by Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA, unfolded under the watchful eye of the council’s chairman, Bldr Sesan Daini.

His strong commitment to revitalizing the region’s entertainment sector was evident as the crowd reveled in a night of excitement, celebrations, and fun.

Unsigned and gifted musicians took center stage, showcasing their talents in a bid to captivate the audience.

Chairman Daini expressed his vision for the event, stating that he aims to make the community experience entertainment on a par with what is seen on television.

Highlighting a broader agenda, the event also served as a platform to promote healthy living, with the NDLEA invited to address the youth in attendance.

The Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, graced the occasion, extending warm greetings to everyone present.

Rapstar Seriki headlined the show, ensuring the festivities continued well into the night.

Hon. Adetutu Banjoko, the only female legislator in Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA, praised the initiative as a welcome and laudable concept fostering community spirit, particularly during the festive season.

She emphasized the potential opportunities for youth presented by the administration of Chairman Bldr Sesan Daini.

IKD 106.1 FM Radio personality Still Young and MC Hold Something anchored the event, infusing it with energy and enthusiasm.

Comrade Omotayo Odusanya, also known as Tysleek commended the executive chairman of Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA for bringing entertainment closer to the grassroots, adding that the show will further set the pace for more entertaining events in the region known for its cool breeze and aquatic splendour.

A dance competition added to the excitement, with winners receiving cash prizes.

In an interview with Ikorodu News Network (INN), a public transporter described the event as a breath of fresh air, noting the community had been missing such gatherings to keep residents in a celebratory mood.

Distinguished guests, including the Olisa of Ipakodo Kingdom, Chief Oludayo Shotomiwa, and Comrade Billiamin Olalekan Oba, State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), attended the event, further enhancing its significance and impact on the community.
